A potentially overlooked contributor to everyone feeling lonely and depressed at home is obvious how much of your job is bullshit and fake. Your job is like the security guard standing around just-in-case.

Obviously if you're in this condition it means you (1) have a job and (2) aren't overworked which is pretty good considering people in the restaurant business, nurses, etc... BUT this may just add to the guilt which increases the downward spiral.

Offices once were places where busy work was easy to generate just like chemicals are easy to generate in a lab and furniture easy to generate in a workshop. Without offices it's like trying to make a chair out of a block of wood using only sandpaper.

Without offices how are we supposed to generate enough meaningful busywork so that people don't implode?? The new volume requirements are huge and the bullshit detectors are 3 times as sensitive.

Back at the office everyone could mentally "share" the hot gir... er... the printers, but now how is everyone supposed to print out their adult coloring book? They can't just *live their lives* b/c just like the security guard they need to be around when sth happens!
