Every war is a spiritual war. Any other kind of conflict is just problem solving. This is because there are 2 fundamentally irreconcilable interpretations of what The End of Knowledge actually IS.https://twitter.com/a_yawning_cat/status/1333339180601020416 …

On one hand there are those who believe that ultimate "Truth" is up to God. This is allows one to live at peace with oneself despite ignorance and imperfection. Recognizing the infinity of God avoids the temptation to explore every rabbit hole of knowledge.

On the other hand, The End of Knowledge can be interpreted as an Ultimate Truth that is *attainable*. This is about understanding a model of the world that allows you infinite knowledge. (E.g. knowing addition allows you to avoid having to memorize 1+1, 2+2, etc..)

The most common word that those on this path encounter is "Enlightenment". The End of Knowledge is achieved upon attaining this "Ultimate Wisdom" from which all other knowledge can be derived.

Both sides *cannot* see eye to eye. They either see the other as complacent and ignorant or arrogant and destructive. BOTH however are driven by the same desire of release from having to constantly burden themselves with more and more knowledge in a never-ending rat race.

There are however bridges. E.g. "The Infinity of God" can be interpreted secularly as "Reality is Fractal" or "Reality has a Surprising Amount of Detail."

On the other hand. The "Ultimate Source of All Knowledge" can be considered the Void from which all arises. E.g. point at an object and say what is it NOT. What did you say? Where did that thought come from? That "source" is "God".

Because these are the two main philosophical stances towards the Ultimate Question, this implies that the weakness of each stance point point to Ultimate Conflicts.

For the former, those that rely on the existence of a Fearsome God. They see (and thus often create) the very enemies that justifies them bringing down Ultimate Judgement(bombs). To float their Heaven above the unwashed, they must constantly pump shadow overboard into a Hell.

For the latter, those who seek the perspective of God. They chase what they can never achieve. Their desire for constant growth becomes intellectual gluttony. Everything is stripped naked and analyzed until there is nothing remaining except disdain and disgust.

These ultimate conflicts can be summed up as Cowardice and Madness. The cures of which are Courage and Presence.

For those who are not sold on Courage. Imagine a world where you didn't have to live in fear. Imagine a world where you could go anywhere and befriend anyone.
