After my wife went vegan, I waited for years before I joined her. I knew I eventually would, but I made all kinds of excuses. None of them were my True Objection.

I personally believe factory farms are inherantly bad, and supporting them by eating their products is bad, but eating meat is not bad. It comes down to a messed up food system globally but in the US especially. I ate meat when I was in France and Germany!
I like this take. It separates out the supporting of a system with the morality of the action itself.

@neutronsoup There are weird edge cases where I'll eat meat. Most common is when a place gets my order wrong. I paid for the impossible burger, and they give me meat instead, or somethingThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
