I am deeply skeptical about the creation of culture from a blank slate. But I am excited about the revival and mutation of existing traditions/cultures if done in collaboration with "lineage holders."
Isn’t this the U.S.? It’s like that time I mixed all the different colored sands thinking I’d get a rainbow. Instead it blurred into monotonous grey that was all about money.
