I think that the breakdown of intimate and trusting relationships between men and women directly tracks civilizational and cultural decay.

A stable and loving parental relationship lets children grow up with good self confidence and emotional regulation abilities. Creates a healthier next generation for the civilization.

What about their role in the present? There isn’t a sharp “next generation” since babies are born over time. Teenagers/young adults also have huge impact on society. (Tiktok, gaming, etc...)
