That is, bad seems to exist bc things can be described as bad. But that exact bad feeling never arises spontaneously within (since it’s interpreted as a good feeling) “Bad” is like Batman, real fiction, but fiction.

I think we can internally arise feelings like "well that didn't go as I intended" but that the nature of Bad-ness is something that originates from external judgment. So a monkey living alone in a jungle will never think "oh fuck, I have sinned"

IMO the magnitude of badness increases w/ social conditioning. As a child, 'badness' happens to only one 'other'. As self-id grows perceived magnitude of badness increases as it happens to: family, friends, race, country, culture, etc..
