The destruction of a story, even if well intentioned as dispelling illusion, still *affirms* the story as worth destroying and thus strengthens the illusion.

An intimate relationship is the mutual destruction of stories as both individuals steps into a new story. Relationships *cannot* succeed if one is trying to get the other to play a role. It is not about story absorption but destruction of BOTH
