girlfriend is watching twilight movies and I can't help but feel that they are Deeply Bad
I get that some people love them and don't take them seriously ,, but it still doesn't sit right with me
is this how some women feel about porn? 
what's "deeply" bad about them? if it's about unrealistic (and slightly toxic via over-masculinity) archetypes wouldn't Captain America and Iron Man would also be bad?

it feels more like a super stimulus for female mate selection. Changes what you desire and pursue in the same way that soda changes what types of foods and flavors you chase.

that's true, though I'm not sure it's that egregious compared to other super stimuli. Somewhat biased b/c I read the author's other book "The Host" and thought it was quite good so kinda felt the twilight hate to be overblown lol
