In a game, death is the inability to get what you want. In life, what you want changes over time. The definition of death changes... Almost makes it feel like if you shake hard enough it’ll leave you alone.

Work/life balance or integration is commonly considered good. What kind of balance is needed with the boundary that separates the serious from the non-serious.

@WeftOfSoul ‘s thought. Reminds me of how yin has a seed of yang and vice versa. The seed probably should exist but not be “shown”. E.g. truly believe that another is “in a better place” at a funeral but be able to not laugh inappropriately. - Show replies
