A snake is dangerous because its 'weaponry' is disproportionate to its perceived 'size'. Two gorillas going at it is more 'honorable'. They aren't perceived as sneaky..

TIL I'm a snake not a gorrilla lol I think part of what makes the lethality of a snake more effective is how unexpected it is. Your gaurd is down But perhaps I should work on being the latter. I don't like focusing too much on conflict because I prefer peace and cooperation...
Same for me. I'll often hold a piece of knowledge almost like a hidden dagger. E.g. sth like 'I know what to say to make this person cry in case this person ever hurts me." But the time spent on polishing that dagger could've been spent on building the actual relationship.
