E.g. if you school system was very ranked and layered. One upping your ego is the equivalent of seeing a caste system as bad and maintaining your cultural identity despite having a (once) critical piece ripped out from it.

This can be worse in some ways because your School System is now hodgepodge of stuff. There's isn't a known or similar solution to work from. Your journey to unravel your school system will be more difficult.

Still though, most people aren't super unique. If you understand the general shapes of the types of scripts that run everyone you can get better results from your own as well as be more emphatic towards those of others.

You can also be more critical, but in a supportive way. It's always easy to criticize someone else as running from a script because it's so clear from the outside looking in. Just be mindful that you have your own blindspots as well.

E.g. theoretically, understanding a script can help you understand why a culture is so opportunistic, pragmatic, and cold caring not a cent for ideals or politics but only money. Or why a script seems to stack rank everyone and everything into layers.
