I propose an alternative Turing Test. If you can make love to it it's human, otherwise it's a machine. As always, the porn industry is on the cutting edge of technology.

Actually.. a better definition. It's the difference between being turned on and being "turned on". This allows for a gradient and isn't purely sexual. E.g. Finding a way for my cat to not be bored with a toy requires much creativity in 'turning on' the play-hunting switch.

Usually something novel will work for a while but it quickly becomes predictable and boring. Being swept "under the api" means to become machinelike and dehumanized into having a predicable reward mechanism. e.g. becoming addicted to social media, gambling, money, etc...
