Envy is a result of taking yourself too seriously. By taking your own projection too seriously you take the projections of others as truth rather than metaphor.

The denser the city the more a specialization can become a service and lifestyle. Without density everyone must become a generalist because there are no economies of scale via deep specialization. So things are expensive and not as high quality.

Invading a country at war with itself is unintuitively a bad idea. There is increased chaos to capitalize on, but it's also heavily militarized. Applies to people who are at war with themselves as well.

Many of us live in privilege moats dug by people long ago. This compounds intelligence/creativity/drive as these same traits don't get you that far elsewhere. Cue constant justification/victim scripts as background anxiety.

True neutral doesn't choose sides. Very few people value truth to the point of being willing to be hated by everyone. It's also not clear that it's a virtue.
