This lust for life is in fact virtuous. The truest expression of the soul. The problem is that it's biased to only those lucky few who can enjoy pure vanilla day and day out.
There's something godlike in very destructive people. They're like wildfires. Even though it's an uncivilized savage fire, it's still "being all that I can be" just like us civilized fires.

Wildfires burn freely and intense while lanterns burn longer and less intensely. A 10W LED bulb burns with 'cold fire' as long as its 'plugged in'.

The virtuous "conquerer's mindset" is a devouring mindset like seeing a cute puppy "I could eat you all up". It has a lust to consume as much as the world as possible but isn't rapey or control-freak about it. It's trying to "fuck" the world, not "fuck" the world.

Litmus test for self-knowledge is how well you can answer the question "What would you like?" If your answer is "What's popular" or "What's that guy having?" then you still have a ways to go.

There’s a sexual aspect to this as well. You have to know what “turns you on”. That’s the difficult awkward self acceptance part.
