force-of-nature individuals are like Jobs, Musk, Napolean, Hitler, Picasso, etc.. their name carries a certain 'weight'. (The limitation of living individuals as a force of nature is that they haven't "set in stone". )

At an individual level, thoughts like "What would mom/dad/grandpa/partner do?" make them forces of nature within your life. When people die, they set and become immortal spirits.

A "Father who died fighting the Enemy" is a consistent source of 'heroic energy' but not if he didn't die. e.g. if you had to watch him grow old and stubborn and racist and paranoid as he realized he couldn't keep up in the world anymore.

The "Dark side's" strength comes from utilizing the force more deeply, similar to how we dig deeper for coal/oil/rare-minerals. Every "Light side" practitioner is at some level corrupted b/c of necessary reliance on technology. Very few can live a full hermit druid lifestyle.

In every Light vs Dark battle, dark is always winning. There's no way for a tree to fight fire. The only thing it can do is burn. Yet every battle ends with Light winning because every fire burns itself out, leaving fertile ground for new life/light.

There's no way to "BE" on the Light side just like a human can't be a tree. You can only be less dark than some other Evil Guy. When a "Council" grows corrupt it does so because it hyper-focuses on finding evil.

Like a bad science experiment done with no rigor, the line blurs between finding what is there and subconsciously creating the very result you secretly desired.

Blinding yourself to the dark side means that your actions have no bias. you can follow the traditional rules for a while but they eventually stale and your actions become random. the very definition of chaos.

The desire to achieve Virtue leaves you vulnerable to the virtue-potion selling salesman. (Often this is due to fear more than arrogance. E.g. if you were whipped for doing the wrong thing you 'd want desperately to be able to permanently *have* the 'right' thing.)

"Dark Magic" forcibly directs existing magic via force of will. It's dark because it intentionally ignores the living intention within the "force" and just desires the raw energy.https://youtu.be/wfP2I5cFdpE?t=76 …

"Eye for an eye" leaves the world blind because the act of ignoring the sprit in one person damages them so that they ignore the spirit in *everything*.
