These sorts of homes have a very high 'anti-entropy' value. They're like giant buckets that can hold more of the entropy we shed off just by living.

You can't fully immerse yourself in a journey and come out the other side into a new reality (and new home) if you never truly leave. Death and distance used to be mechanism to force a journey. But constant connection and longer lifespans prevent these journeys.

Like watching our home island disappear from the horizon. This is the battle with Self or True Loneliness. It's best to bring a few gods with you to help as cannon fodder...
