      It seems quite ridiculous to economically have poorer people suffer first. It's like sending in the meat-shield before the knights. It's something you do only to slaves. Whoever suffers first has early insight into the problem.

      The entitled millenial trope seems tied to the death of religion. Infinite participation trophies was a stand-in for the loss of infinite love. This source of infinite fake-ness created an existential need and thirst for infinite real-ness.

      The problem with the king of fluid cultures, protocol-ization, is that it's soulless and cold and hierarchical. It has no boundaries, no sense of "enough". This infinite hunger arises out of lack of stomach, not a big stomach. It creates the culture of "elite".
