I am coming to realize that what I *thought* was frustration at other people's opinions was instead a frustration with my own inability to verbalize why they are wrong
Explaining something takes 10 times more energy than just knowing and doing what’s right. What’s really annoying are people who set themselves up as critics, forcing this burden on everyone else except themselves.

there's that quote about how you need to know 10x more than a student in order to explain something well. Trust is a way to short circuit that 10x necessity. E.g it allows for proper leadership in the absence of a 'master/god' figure.
