      An abundance of resources => less cooperation needed => loneliness => lack of community feeling mistaken for lack of resources => greater abundance of resources.

      Implicit in this loop is that we form relationships out of mostly ‘selfish’ means. That is, without a mutual need for another there is no relationship, only a transaction, or a show.
