There's a certain type of "technological stoicism" that I am noticing more and more. Basically, the belief that technology is the only force which changes human behavior and so we should just stoically deal with things we don't like or build tech to fix them.
Power is the only force that has ever forcibly changed human behavior. Within tech, there's a lack of culture around using power to seduce so it can be overly invasive. warrior/knight cultures are more 'chadlike' while stoic cultures don't male/female differences unimportant.
