There's a layer of truth to proselytizing religions. Anything 'god' you worship in secret is a false god. E.g. being part of a secret insider group with access to direct words of wisdom and advice from a wise guru. Any 'truth' must by definition be available to everyone.

Yea there's a difference between "vitamind d3 solved all my symptoms, everyone should know about this." vs "Hahaha I have secret access to ritalin with no apparent side-effects." vs "Everyone should take this ritalin to be competitive, else ur a loser."
