Most of us don't know where death is. We're afraid to face it and so life life constantly on the lookout for it. That is the price paid for cowardice.

False gods are what we cling to as we are relentlessly dragged into the future. We scrape along unnecessarily on the ground.

We think that if we let go of our gods we will fall into the abyss towards death. The truth is if we let go of our gods we are propelled not into the future(eventual death) but into the present moment.

Examples of false gods: "If I live in a safe neighborhood, my family and I will not be hit by drunk drivers." or "If I cross this street, I won't be hit by a meteor and die."

Every false-god killed in the 'normal' way just becomes a new false-god. E.g. when you resolve a fear, a new one takes it's place. The only way to kill all the false-gods once and for all is to kill god itself.

You have to realize, no matter what you do, that you could die at any moment. You have to be willing to accept the tragedy of all your amassed money, status, knowledge, etc.. will go to waste.

"Power" is the threat and ability to strip someone's god naked and shame it. Immunity to power is to have no gods. "Power" doesn't work on me if I'm willing to punch you until you die and suffer the consequences as long as I get that powerpoint in a different font."
