A good executive _should_ do "nothing". Anytime power is exerted in a relationship, that relationship ends. A good leader grows his or her relationships and network by rarely deploying power. By refusing to use power, they gain power.

I think you're talking about Effortless Action here. We could we say that appropriate uses of power may still be applied directly at some intensity and without much hesitation. The wisdom inherent is knowing that a little too much power applied is Way Too Much Power applied.

Effortless action only makes sense when judging good or bad through the context of a human life though. A single human cannot have godview over the butterfly effect downstream results over *all* of time.
