The person who senses the problem first is often least qualified to propose the solution. The sensitivity that allowed this foresight also makes the solution heavy-handed. Too much too soon. The ravings of a paranoid madman.

So are you referring to a hypersensitivity, not really adaptive? I thought that his radar was just the first to signal a legit problem. That’s the way I read your post.
The problem *is* legit. The problem is that it's problems all the way down. Imagine someone who is always telling everyone else the very real and legit problem "We're all gonna die." Yes. True. But is it a problem *now* for everyone, or is it just the individual's?

Every problem is rooted in avoidance of death/entropy. So pointing out bullshit that is fake is always 'correct'. But a lot of 'bullshit' actually fertilizes fruit and flowers.
