I think this is because most people give up on their genius to perform a specific type of highly paid labor. Software is the one I chose because it was/is what's popular and high paying for this time period in which I'm alive.

I'm not motivated to understand what kind of services can help augment my genius because my adult identity revolves around something that may not actually be worth augmenting. It's like buying a house for your step-child instead of your actual child.

This may be why some businessmen can feel inhuman. They've spent their lives forging themselves into an identity optimized for making money. They feel 99% puppet and 1% soul.

They seem insensitive because they've made the sacrifice of burying their souls. The screaming of souls just feels annoying to them. Like the screaming of entitled children.
