Examples: expensive retaurants where each plate is “art” drives far more meaning rated pursuits than survival consumption. Same for many luxury foods like cars, clothes, bags, houses, etc...

Understanding how flavors and colors work together. Pushing the boundaries of architecture. Being an artist etc... these “meaningful” pursuits are meaningful precisely because they’re beyond survival concerns.
