Amorality is immoral without selflessness as the vacuum sucks dry the morality of others. The apathetic mercenary can generate great short term results but there's often the cost long term cost of hidden spreading jadedness.

Non-sentimentality is crucial for efficiency. However most teams have a non-zero level of sentimentality because most missions are bullshit goals tying together bullshit jobs. An effective mercenary in the midst dispels the illusion that the 'family' is critical.
