Main difficulty is providing a digital experience that can make up for lack of a real physical being.. E.g. the act of petting a pet can reduce stress. Is there a digital equivalent? Reading reddit/twitter/facebook doesn't seem like the answer...

Maybe something like random cat memes throughout the day. While you're working it'll just randomly start showing cat memes and make you click around to dismiss it. To mimic a cat jumping on your keyboard.

If it seems like you're busy, e.g. multiple mouse movements and keyboard typing it'll do this more often.
