It indicates stagnancy. The recognition that growth has stopped and is being desperately faked by forcing people to pretend to be respectful by disrespecting them if they do not. This is a cult of fake happiness.

IMO, the greatest part aspect of U.S. its culture is its individuality that prevents these false cults and false leaders from forming. By not creating social mazes that forced faking it, a culture of individuality produced 'true leaders'

It meant that hierarchies of value could be built without dysfunction and bottlenecks because the level of responsibility didn't match the ability to perform.

The "Business" as an entity could not be formed within a culture where princes could immediately land a high ranking title. Respect can be given, only when it can be refused.

Being disrespectful is a strength of U.S. culture because it allows True Respect to be given. When countries try to force respect they destroy the system by clogging it up with pseudo respect.

Respect and pseudo-respect are like the concept of a dollar as a spendable unit and the actual green piece of paper. A whole bunch of the latter doesn't actually increase the former.

True respect is harder and harder these days. Our kings our no longer gods, they live too publicly.

When you kill god you increase the pressure on kings to ridiculous extents. Being cursed to be human yet having to be lived up to as a god will inflate the ego and self-deception powers of anyone just as a pufferfish expands when danger is close.

Anytime you kill a god you increase the power of humans because their responsibilities grow. The more gods you kill the more power the kings get.

A 'good' king stops the inflow of power when it is beyond his abilities to control. A 'bad' king wants more and more, convinced he is handling it rather than fucking up.

Anytime you intervene in any situation you're saying you can do better than god. That you can do better than what nature/reality is doing. It means claiming that you understand the simulation and explain its rules and games.

Most of us can't even console a crying child correctly. We realize that we don't actually understand anger, fear, sadness, happiness.

If we can't demonstrate magical powers and dispel it when we claim existence of a matrix then you have to play Morpheus. You have to to tell them that they are the "One".

That's the real secret to kingship I think. Being a king is about being respectful and deferential to the people who believe in you. Most of us get caught up thinking being disrespectful to the people who don't believe in us is the same thing.
