What happens if you force resumes to be blind to the name of the university? (You can only put “finished 4-year college.”) Is this net good?

Employers would no longer be able to pick and choose from cultures that use colleges to self stratify in a zero sum competition. E.g. if a company were a person it would have the equivalent of suddenly not being able to tell chinese people apart at all.
