A successful company has to become part of the environment for the customer, like whole foods, walgreen, apple, etc... it’s relatively “dead” just like a tree is dead when compared with the faster tempo animals that live on it.

To become a source of life for something else you must stay still. So still that plants start growing around you and you eventually disappear and appear to die. You become a caricature.
