Sounds true and important. Substituting “big” for “self-aggrandizing” and small for “humble” or maybe “self-effacing” ... in my mind. Capturing some of your intended meaning, for me, a non-native English speaker, I guess.
Most struggle is a struggle to feel big, a struggle to regain a sense of bigness. Prayer, meditation, and journeys are a way of feeling small again, and having it be alright.
