One thing that bothers me is how Christ never took a wife in the Bible. He was supposed to be the perfect man. I wanted to know how the perfect man would handle a wife and son. I was hoping to see Christ weep over a lost daughter. Maybe next time.
With every action ask "Does this serve humanity/God?" And make the choice no matter how difficult. Would you rather be thought good and not be good. Or be good and be thought not good?
