1/ Diversity of cultures can multiply meaningful work by creating a lot of re-interpretation work to translate across different cultures. The obsession with efficiency via homogenization eliminates this diversity.

2/ What is ironic is that what drives this homogenization is the drive for more economic output. Diversity can be an incredible force multiplier of meaning because everything has to be re-done in a different way.

3/ Work at it’s core, in a post-scarcity world is mostly about meaning making. Diversity is a liability when survival is necessary and a lever when survival isn’t.

4/ A lot of our current cultural conditioning and programs rely on this fear of death. Without this fear, the programs give ways to nothingness and existential dread.

5/ diversity is utilized for economic output by letting the “other” just BE. Instead of passive aggressively implying that they should integrate. But it is also utilized by making them alien. To bolster our dying scripts.
