The problem with bureaucracies isn't that it says "no" to innovators, but that it takes a very long time to say "yes" In the mean time, innovators run out of money, give up, or don't even pursue in the 1st place We're worse off, & we don't feel it b/c we can't imagine otherwise

Innovation probably always involves an element of profanity by changing something core to the existing sacred. Within bureaucracies you’re asked to prove your loyalty first over a long time. From the POV of the innovator this is an impossible task of doublethink.
