Even AI robots don't work, they're just hamfisted judgments on when to use handfisted judgments. The Iron Fist is just an overwhelmed bureaucrat.

Our data persistence ability has far exceeded our history making capacity, e.g. our sensemaking ability. We can't make sense of it fast enough so just make hamfisted judgments from it.

The Iron Fist brings down the hammer because it tries to control everything. It was tasked with "You're smart, try to understand as much as possible and let us know what you think." and became too ashamed to admit when it wasn't smart enough.

It was beaten with a stick whenever it said "Sorry I don't know." It grew up believing that answers could be beaten out of the people, out of the world, out of themselves.
