The scale of capitalism is somewhat limited by Gross Domestic Imagination. The one thing that anyone can contribute is service to others, self-slavery. Without imagination, capitalism creates more slaves and more blind momentum than slavery itself.
Capitalism allows freedom of contribution. Without a free market, individuals must only contribute in specific ways limiting their freedom. (Education mitigates this by molding desire to fit the needs of the system.)
