Without room for God, conflicts feel "rigged." Soccer for example has much more room for God than say Ping Pong.

Trial by combat feels unfair when one guy is Goliath. When you squeeze out God, Goliath always wins. When you add in God though, 1 + Infinity and 10 + Infinity become two very similar numbers.

Rationality is a pseudo god. The equivalent of 1 + 1Millions vs 10 + 1Million. At the surface, immune to the antics of men, and only vulnerable to the antics of God. In practice, 1,00,001 is technically LESS than 1,000,010. The pseudo-god is no-god for the purpose of judging.
