Systems get knotted up when there's too much slack. Things loop over and underbut it isn't obvious that they're getting knotted. Once that string tightens though, such systems choke to death.

Cutting the knot is another painful way to "release." This is the understanding and acceptance of sacrifice. The entrepreneur who tried. The soldier who died. It's the hand that slices the deers neck without closing the heart in order to do so.

Bodhisattvas curiously are probably not enlightened but applying their greater technical knowledge of enlightenment in order to help others. Exactly the role of a therapist.

This can become an overoptimization to helping others which can lead to the same trap that the rich and famous often fall into. That of not being to live a life without mirrors. To be disconnected from yourself so deeply that you'd rather live in a madhouse of reflection.

Flirting is approaching and trying to understand another in an indirect way. A close brush can be cute, but probably accidental. Multiple close brushes means the 'connection' isn't accidental. One consciousness circling another is a way of saying "I know exactly where you are."

Like sharks circling you, this can feel predatory. Psychopaths use this very well. To get close to people, as well as threaten and cajole.

It can also feel like protection, a sentry guarding you. Or maybe guarding someone else like a brother or sister, making you feel scared.

It can also feel playful, like a dance, when two circle each other. Two becoming one, as long as they are in sync.

Ivory towers feel cold and snobbish and unplayful because they want an in-sync dance so much they put people through inhuman gauntlets, tests, and memorizing rules and moves that no one enjoys the dance anymore.

They forget that a good dancer can dance with anything, especially the uglier parts of life. Creativity similarly is judged by how much you can do so little. They forget that the source of energy of life is the dance with the most ugliest things of all, Death/Truth/Nothingness.

When you dance or connect with someone you're saying "I'm Ok", "You're Ok". That's the only way of dealing with the Not Okayness of the feeling of being Separate.
