True discipline is a gleeful acceptance of death. If Present Me is always doing stuff for Future Me then Present Me is always dying without getting to do what Present Me wants. The only way to enjoy is the pretend that Future Me and Present me are the same. That bridge is ego.

Ego pretends to capture the future in the present and so destroys it. Life can literally see no future and therefore create it.

True sacrifice is acceptance of pain or loss with the understanding that you don't get paid back, it's not wanting for something in return. It's the understanding that the future is fundamentally unknowable and we'll never know if what we're doing is "Right"

The reason bodybuilders don't typically pass as Enlightened is because their pain and gain is linked. There's a narcissism ego bridge that tricks Present Me into thinking it'll enjoy what only Future Me can enjoy.

When Pain is willingly taken on, knowing full well that the Gain is someone Other, that's real Faith. Literally be willing to die for someone who may as well be a homeless deviant alien in another dimension

That real Faith. That belief that each present moment is so divine and unique that it can't be passed up, it has to be lived through, even if painful. It's the refusal to allow time to loop back on itself to create boredom.

That's the spirit of children. The fierceness to battle Boredom with all your Heart and Soul. That's the spirit that's lost when they become Adults. The path to Power as an Adult is dealing with Boredom, becoming Numb, and spending that Power to try and feel alive again.

Children truly live because they die to each moment again and again, giving each moment their all until they pass out from exhaustion. and when they can't, they fight and fight until they're broken. ("educated")

Adults are actually dead because they try to live moment to moment. They think Present Me is an actual thing. Present Me can't be an actual thing because Present Me lasts for 0 time.

True discipline is not to be the adult who strives to live as long as possible, but to be the child, who doesn't even THINK about whether their life is good or not.

True discipline is true courage. It's the courage to just Be.... and Be Fine.

It's saying "It can't get much better than this, this is how I'd like to die." and keeping that sensation for the rest of forever.
