Individuals have a position in their growth process, as do systems and subsystems. There is an inflection point where personal maturity passes societies maturity. (Or their families, or their companies)

Passing the inflection point of maturity is very scary. Like jumping into a cold dark oceans. The benefit however is the higher perspective that gives you a much higher OODA loop rate.
