There's an aspect of "grit" that I feel is abused by the hustle-porn group. True grit IMO has an aspect of patience, it's staying w/ something consciously until it "unlocks". This can be driven by patience & respect (e.g. gardening) or by desperation or narcissistic wounds.
The latter always has an exploitative extractive feeling to it. Often time exploiting the desperation and narcissism of others.
Consistent progress, like consistent returns, is a red flag for a ponzi scheme of sorts. You think you're growing something like an investment but you may just be borrowing life energy from other people(indirect slavery) or from the future.
