Who is more valued by society? (why?)

There’s an element of “sacredness” to women that increases value. However lack of respect for the “divinity” of men means putting women on a pedestal which dehumanizes. Neither can be valued without valuing both.

Women are trying to be more like men and men are trying to be less like men. The former strives for the boundary drawing power of the surgeon’s scalpel. The latter shirks in fear of a bloody knife. Both have lost sight of the power to dissolve boundaries.
