Any idea for why this ability is partially lost after 45? 1) Less incentives to lie (less fertility, …)? 2) Makes the "wisdom of the elders" easier to trust? 3) …? (1) would prob require the effect to be stronger/earlier in women
Maybe: Effective lying seems to need an element of self deception. Difficult to do with a larger body of knowledge, especially as more and more of it becomes submerged wisdom. Disconnection from the dominant cultural storytelling meme energy also likely.
