Is there anything that you believe is too serious to be joked about?

Joking is easier with intimacy. With crowds there may be a upper limit to possible intimacy that makes it near impossible for the joke to elicit laughter. Comedians need to build up a career b/c amassing a followership and increasing that intimacy takes time.
Bulk of a joke’s payload is within the context and the audience. The actual joke itself may just be pretty wrapping paper.
