Podcasts imo a true problem-to-be-solved (in Clay Christensen sense) medium. Very few people actually prefer audio as a medium to consume information. It mainly solves the "boring commute" or "boring chores" problem. Change my mind.
When reading something I hear it in my own voice, the avatar has all my biases and outlooks and stuff. When listening to someone elses voice there’s a much bigger sense of someone else “out there”. E.g. if the content is self-helpy, audio allows projection of an authority figure.
