And yet again we see the bizarre statement “Here at CTT, we are committed to the promotion of inclusivity and a fair competition in sport”. INCLUSIVITY? Are you fucking kidding me?

This is outrageous. It apparently requires blood testing of ALL female competitors and will ban for life 10% of all cisgender women because of elevated testosterone levels. There needs to be strong protest from cisgender women against this, and court action.

Serum testosterone for women cyclists in British cycling time trials restricted to 2.5nml/litre. Absolutely batshit. As You can see in the graph below, quite a lot of elite female athletes have a serum testosterone above 2nm/l. At least 13%

Replying to @roadcc
Not reporting on the requirement for Cis women to "not have had a Testosterone result in serum of above 2.5nmls/l before competing" as 1 of 3 requirements if eligibility ??? That's the first requirement of it's kind in the WORLD 😳

I wonder if neurodivergent trans people present to their doctor and just say “I’m trans”, whereas a neurotypical trans person presents and says”I have great ennui, I don’t seem to connect with society’s expectations of me”, and so we get more ND trans people.

I know our NHS is broken and it’s very difficult to get appointments but I do wonder if the problem is I still haven’t learnt how to deal with medical people. Is this a neurodiversity issue? End

I guess what I’m saying is that I have a problem convincing people I’m in pain and need help. This could have been sorted in January, but it’s June, I’m about to go on holiday, and I’m incredibly frustrated. 9/n

When I mentioned that my last test came back negative, I was told “No, you tested positive for e.coli” so how were they ignoring my symptoms even in the face of evidence? So now I’m waiting for yet another test result because the last one is now invalid 8/n

So here I am back in the present, I’ve been in pain for 6months unable to convince anyone I’m ill. At my last appointment I was offered some pills to ‘relax my bladder’, but couldn’t convince them I had an infection. 7/n

It transpired that the (male) doctors took a look at me and decided that no way was my lung collapsed, but the (female) nurses believed me. I later found out that they’d had a bet on my condition and I’d won the female staff some money. 6/n

When I explained myself to the triage nurse she was rather shocked. I’d been forgotten. They called for a wheelchair and I was pushed down the corridor. Pneumothorax is life threatening. I then had a similar experience with the doctors 5/n

I was sent to A&E, told them I had a collapsed lung, and was told to sit in the red chairs in the front row (which I assumed were priority). After 2 hours the triage nurse asked if anyone was waiting. I assumed everybody was waiting but I put my hand up 4/n

Reminds me of the second time my lung collapsed (yes, seriously). I presented at my GP surgery telling them that I was having trouble breathing and I thought my lung had collapsed. They seemed dismissive but when I suggested I had ‘chest pain’ (not strictly true) they saw me 3/n

I filled out the eConsult and it said “based on your answers you need urgent attention and should call the surgery”. So yet again I’m being bounced around because I’m apparently unable to convince people I’m ill. 2/n

I just talked to my GP surgery. I’m fairly sure I used the words “I’m in a lot of pain”. When I asked for an appointment I was told end of June, but I was welcome to fill out an eConsult and have a GP deal with it “in a day or 2”. 1/n

“It could put female patients at risk”. I’m fucking sick of trans people being portrayed as predators. Just how is a trans doctor supposed to be putting a patient at risk? Just stop with this shit.

I saw Tina Turner at Murrayfield during the Goldeneye tour. She walked on stage, started singing, and I burst into tears. No one had ever done that to me before. Icon. Thank you Tina. RIP
I’d agree, but add: 40 years of being out: 1983: Moral panic, nurse assumes I’m an AIDS risk and freaks out.

For the first time in my entire life my vote has counted! I have a councillor I actually voted for! It looks like the parties in neighbouring wards were careful to avoid splitting the anti-Tory votes, and it worked!

I see examples of this a lot. La Vuelta Feminina starts today and is the first Grand Tour of the year. The men’s Giro starts on the 6th May and would appear to be the second Grand Tour. My guess is Demi Vollering to win first Grand Tour of the year

Time is starting to run out for this petition. I have very little hope it will get across the line. Which would mean it's already the third or fourth time this fails. But yeah, we're a strong community. Except we're not really, are we? petition.parliament.uk/petitions/6295
