Broadly I agree with the trajectory of the image of aid workers, and of course with the problem of creating heroes for public consumption

However the article misses a huge part of this, which is who is producing the images, which is as important as who is consuming them

So perhaps, there could be a promising vol.2 coming?

Strong pts, but so many more to make. For ex, the majority of aidworkers on the ground in warzones are not white, expat saviors - but locals

And, IMHO, our figs aren't good enough to make any assertions 100%. AWSD is the best we have. But we still need to work on data collection
