No, it's not. Germany should clarify exactly what they mean. If they intend to use aid as leverage to protect human rights - rather than just grandstanding - they need to be clear and specific about what kinds of practices are unacceptable

What you are saying is like Christian law. There are many sects like Shia or Sunni. These taliban follow Deobandi way of Sunni Islam which started from Indian state of utter pradesh

This is ignorant and imperialist. 99% of Afghan, even the ones who don't agree with the Taliban's version of it, want sharia (pew 2017).

They probably mean the "chopping off hand and stoning to death" type of sharia... at least that's the way the word is commonly misused/misunderstood in German
