*As @BRRubin points out, removing sanctions requires the international community's buy-in -- which is unlikely to be unconditionally forthcoming anytime soon. It will require significant outreach, diplomacy and Taliban violence reduction.
It definitely won't happen quickly
But maybe sanctions removal (or more precisely: negotiations around it) would draw the wider international community into the process more. This has been a major gap. And you need wider engagement if this process is ever going to actually work.
In the absence of sincere approach to peace talks,neither six months nor six years will be enough to end this war....extension isn't the solution neither it can induce the desired outcomes..
